MC Kofi-B (Kiss 100 FM Resident)
"We're all going on a Summer Holiday" are trademark Kofi-B lyrics. He is a regular at Sun City, Harmony & Ascension, Sweet
Harmony, Shake It Up, Pure Napa and all the Wasss-uuup Specials. He has become the first Garage MC to appear on a Bhangra album. Kofi-B is from West London, and he has been an MC since 1995. At the age of 22 he is one of the youngest MCs at the superstar level. Kofi-B started off MCing to Jungle and Drum n Bass, it was whilst MCing in room 2 @ Animal House he got his big break. The rest is history, Kofi-B started to make a big impression in the both Jungle and UK Garage.
In 1999 he got his first major UKG booking with Sun City, and after that he got residences with Sweet Harmony, Shake it Up, Wassss-uuuup and many other big name promotions. Kofi-B has MCeed in Dublin, Ayia Napa, Switzerland, Germany and Ibiza.
Where did you get your name? I've had it since the school days, my mates used to call me KOFI-B and I guess it just stuck.
When are we gonna hear a tune from you? Hmmmm, I've got a few offers on the table, I hope to turn 'Summer Holiday' and 'Shake that booty' into tunes, but who knows??? WATCH DIS SPACE!!!!
